Can any of you guess what this is? I saw it on one of my walks....
I'm off to New Jersey for the Spooky Time Jingles Soiree!!!
Sorry it's so small I can't make it any bigger (but maybe if you double click it)
I'm so excited that I'm going to be meeting some of my favorite people and artists!
Then I'm going to NYC to visit with Zan!
I plan to blog about this while I'm gone.
Plus every time you see this goblin and comment of the post I'll add your name to the drawing coming October 30th!
First let me tell you that I changed my travel plans. Today I was supposed to be flying to the Netherlands. I was all packed! Ready to GO! Then the terrorist alerts started pouring in. Germany (I was thinking of going there) France (there too), Japan and then finally Amsterdam! Their airport and train stations and business's around the stations... I thought very hard and made the decision not to go at this time. I'm looking forward to traveling there in April 2011... To celebrate with my dear friend Essie's Birthday~ http://www.vanessies.blogspot.com and to see Donna and several other wonderful artists! SO I was heavy of heart for a day or so now I know that April is just around the corner!
So I started to bring up my Halloween things from the basement...
Here's a few photo's of my motley crew...

The beginnings of my mantle.
And last but not least... My October giveaway will be this disgruntled goblin. Please leave a comment on this post and a way to get in touch with you. I'll draw a name on October 30th!
And once again thank you all for following me and commenting
I've grown a few pumpkins this year... not much else grew as we have had a very wet summer. I'll give these pumpkins to my neighbors as I'll be in Amsterdam on Oct. 31st!
I love when my chickens are looking at me saying "What are you looking at?"
I'm not so sure that the one in the middle isn't a rooster~sorry neighbors this one stays if she is... I love her/him... time will tell. I'm so thankful I have such a great chicken/cat sitter that will be living here.
Spiders are out.... eekkkkkk.... does anyone know what kind of spider this is? We have so many of these I hope thy are not poisonous!
This time next week I'll be in the town Essie lives in!
I'm staying at this hotel for the first 3 days.... NH Marquette
I live in the Pacific NW with my husband, cat and 7 chickens. My son lives a few miles away. I feel blessed to have 2 people that love me and I love them back. I've been making dolls for several years. From odd to cute... Halloween is one of my favorites.
I feel grateful and blessed everyday.
I've always had an eye for odd and unusual things. I'm attracted to bones, skulls, feathers.
I love dry humor and dark clothing. I'd rather have green olives than a chocolate cake. Coffee instead of tea. A walk on the beach or a dirt road instead of a mall or fancy clothing store. I love birds (that includes my chickens) prefer cats over dogs... but I love dogs.
I'm nomadic and would like to travel 9 months out of the year.
That's a little about me...
