Back From NIADA/Chicago... Heavy Photos!!!!!

I'm going to just add photo's here in this post... I fell in the shower the last day of the show and bruised my tail bone so I'm on "drugs" and can't sit too long... so here goes NIADA/Chicago/ODACA doll show.

First Day At NIADA there is a show of all the members that came and new members...
I'm so sorry I didn't get all their names.

I think this was my favorite doll~
Same artist....
Again same artist and new NIADA memeber.
I know this is Marlanine..... who I love.
Another wonderful Danish artist ~Henne~
Ankies doll
Olga's
Olga's again....I was lucky enough to take her class.
And this was the first day!
More later...
This is the doll I made in Olga's class~ she's just not about sculpting but her painting techniques are unbelievable!

I'll add more photos later...

My roommate Jacqui... Thanks Jacqui ~: ) Let's never forget that Rickshaw ride!

Lucky! I have always wanted to go to NIADA. It seems you like a lot of the same artists that I do. No surprise there - ha ha
More pictures please. :o)

Thanks so much for sharing these pics!!!!!!!! All the dolls are so creative and fabulous... such an eye candy :)

Also.. your doll from the class is absolutely FANTASTIC! Different from what you usually do... yet there is still plenty of "you" in it... very very beautiful work!

OMG - those dolls are amazing.... I wish I was good enough to be part of something like that... practice I guess.

I hope your tail bone heals... damn that must hurt.

I missed something (just reading other comments)... your doll? I was too busy drooling over the art, I didn't read the text....

Awesome piece you did in Olgas class. Thank you for sharing your pics of the dolls. I really want to go to a NIADA event now. Hope you get better soon, I had that happen when I was in college. Not fun in the least.

nice to read you had a great time besides the fall in the shower, ouch.
the Dutch ladies on your photographs are, Marlaine Verhelst(http://dabida.eu/page.php?page=Marlaine%20Verhelst), Hennie Koffrie(http://dabida.eu/page.php?page=Hennie%20Koffrie) and Ankie Daanen (http://dabida.eu/page.php?page=Ankie%20Daanen).
Hennie is Dutch not Danish ;)) and indeed all three wonderful and lovely, sweet ladies.

Love, Andrea

Wow... What awesome dolls, what a great variety! Again, I absolutely LOVE the doll you made! ^-^
It looks kind of Lovecraftian... =D
Hope your tailbone is feeling better & that they gave you good drugs... ^_~
I hate falling in the shower/tub... It seems to be more terrifying than falling on dry ground. I think it might be due to the momentum one gets while sliding wildly about...

Feel better soon! ^-^
