This Blog Has Not Recently Been About Dolls

I haven't touched clay in about 3 months....
I've clearly had a case of the Dole Drums...
I am hoping the clay addiction will rear it's head sometime... but I'm not feeling it.

Here are some pictures of my day~
.
My cat Thai sitting on our deck...
A baby crow waiting for it's mother...
Keep it simple...
I love succulents...
My ducks first day in the yard...
When I'm at my computer this is what I look at... Renee I think of you many times a day...

Your clay addiction will return - I know I've been there. In the meantime enjoy each day, like it looks like you have enjoyed today. Renee would be happy.

i know you will get back to the clay very soon...i felt the same way about beading. that's how i took up clay, surprisingly enough. and now i am back on the beading wagon.

it looks like there are plenty of beautiful, cute, and interesting things going on in your world daily...inspiration will strike when you least expect it.

Hang in there. Something will come along to inspire you. Thai is a gorgeous cat! I hope I get the energy to create the things I have in my head soon!

Hang in there. Enjoy life, I believe your inspiration will come when you are ready.

Hmmmmm... The hanger part is in the part 5 video, I'm checking part 3 now to see about the feet. If it's not in there, all I did was make some egg shapes in clay and add them to the tooth pick legs and flattened out the bottoms. When the were dry, I painted them black. Thanks for the heads up!

Hi Pattee, Doledrums huh...could the mostly constant gray sky and rain be a part of that? It is for me! Also I can't seem to stop eating! Doledrums again for me!

What are those lovely pink flowers, I want some?

Love your pictures, Thai is a beauty!

It must have been fun watching the ducks checking out their surroundings outside their pen, would love to have seen that myself!

Hey Pattee.. I can totally relate to this! I take months off all the time! LOL... It is nothing for me to not touch my work for 2 or 3 months... It happens but rest assured I always go back to it and so will you! We all need our little breaks now and then and our down time!

Oh Pattee, don't worry! I've also been there and what i was thinking is whats the use of sculpting... i don't sell anything... my home is stuffed with creations in boxes... i want to trow my clay to the walls! But now i'm back and try to make the best of it and finally open a blogshop at the end of this month :-)

Hey Girl, you and I are sharing the same dole drums but we'll get our groove back soon. I go into my studio and it just isn't drawing me in as it usually does...so sad. But when it returns, it will return with a vengeance...not to worry. Just keep enjoying what your doing...isn't that what's important anyway?

Hang in there, my friend.

xxoo,
Georgina

Hi Pattee, thanks for stopping by my blog Laughing Dog Arts. I found you on Gypsy Caravan and now I see you have several blogs, which one do I follow? All have interesting things posted. I do love ducks too, wish I could have them again but I don't want to pen them and we have too many raccoons here that kill them. I see you have bamboo too as do I, I love ducks in bamboo. I think there are lots of us artists in the doldrums these days from what I am reading in blogs. Maybe it is the weather? I hope you can find some inspiration soon. Maybe you need some new art supplies to inspire you? Take a class? Teach a class? Best of luck to you.
