With his top hat he's barely 2 inches tall...
I think I need to move on from the 4 snowmen I've made : )
After the new year I'm going to clean out my studio room and get rid of a lot of stuff.... I have way to much. In fact I was at Michale's today and the temptation to buy 50-60% off all Christmas decor and crafts almost got me.... but I walked out of there empty handed! Yay!!! After the first week I'm going to put some of my sculpting tools and such up on my etsy...
Happy New Year to you all...
I'm teaching this miniature snowman class on my ning for $5.00 http://www.odd-dolls-fun.ning.com
In appreciation for those of you that follow me and or are on my ning and have supported me all year!
(If you choose to accept this mission you can pay pal me at email@example.com
Here is my December giveaway... A tiny angel. She's only 3 inches tall. If you'd like a chance to win her please leave a comment on this post or any post that I might put her photo. I'll draw a name on the 30th of December and mail her out after the first of the new year. Good-Luck!
Here's an up date on Creepy Snowman... he thanks all of you that didn't call him creepy! He's still a work in progress... (now I wish I had gotten that broom pen from Halloween!)
Well here she is as of now... I'd love to get feed back about what next I should do... She's got me over a barrel right now.
I've only made wings a total of 5 times. I guess I'm just not a wing gal... So I went to JoAnn's and bought some Holiday garland.... This could be one type of wing.
Then I have these small stars on wire I thought I'd encircle her with. What do you think?
Here's another "type" of wing she could have... or maybe no wings at all!
I have had a bit of feed back about her hair and the gold wire on top of her (which is NOT a Brillo pad)... I thought the gold wire glued to her head would be a cool hat... or put her hair up in a bun...
Please tell me what you think ~
Have a Great Monday Monday...
I live in the Pacific NW with my husband, cat and 7 chickens. My son lives a few miles away. I feel blessed to have 2 people that love me and I love them back. I've been making dolls for several years. From odd to cute... Halloween is one of my favorites.
I feel grateful and blessed everyday.
I've always had an eye for odd and unusual things. I'm attracted to bones, skulls, feathers.
I love dry humor and dark clothing. I'd rather have green olives than a chocolate cake. Coffee instead of tea. A walk on the beach or a dirt road instead of a mall or fancy clothing store. I love birds (that includes my chickens) prefer cats over dogs... but I love dogs.
I'm nomadic and would like to travel 9 months out of the year.
That's a little about me...
