Happy New Year!

Happy New Year Everyone!
I don't make resolutions, I never keep them.  I make resolutions with myself all year.
Tonight I am having a quiet dinner with friends and then a movie... but I'll be in bed by 10 at the latest!

I hope for everyone that your next new year be filled filled with love, laughter. joy and peace.

Finally Christams is Over....

Not to be a Scrooge... but I'm always glad when I can get back into my groove and head into the New Year! Eat a bit lighter, go to bed a little earlier.....

This doll is a doll that I made for my son's girlfriend... She's a reader and so I made a "fairy tale" like doll reading a book in an over sized chair... She fell in love with her Wheww....

Anyway it's on to the next thing... New Years which we will watch a movie and I'll be in bed by 10 p.m....... not the night owl I used to be~

It Doesn't Matter What God Or Goddess or Nothing You Believe In

It's Human Kind that matters.
I met the most beautiful woman on line.
I don't remember how it happened. Maybe I found her blog by looking at others blogs.
The first blog entry I read of Renee's was about her cancer, inflammatory breast cancer. I'd never heard of it before. Since, I've tried to spread the word about this cancer... another gift Renee gave me and maybe someone I told that told someone else.....
As we got to know each other better there became this bond. A deep love for one another. I know that this happens time and time again with so many other people that Renee touch's.

She's very sick right now and it pains me to know this. As it pains her family and friends. Her sister Jacqui is very ill also. I hope that all of you that know Renee and will know Renee will pray for her, in any form that you do. I light a candle every day for her and keep a place in my heart that I can go to.
Shes a very special person...
Thank you Renee ~ It's such a gift knowing you.

"Think Inside The Box"

I put my 3 Lucy's in this "Funky" "Funny" little gallery in Seattle. Not sure as you could call it a gallery as it's really a long hall way. Last night it was the "opening" and also the first Thursday Art walk. OH MY I couldn't believe how many people were swarming Pioneer Square (and old part of Seattle turned "hipster") People carrying wine and beer into the streets to go another gallery opening. Wild and I loved it! I wish I had gotten more pictures but I was just memorized ~

Here's how I set up my Lucy's... They weren't for sale as they feel like a part of my self.

These are just a few boxes I got to photograph....
And then Mr. Red walked in and I HAD to take a picture of him... we talked for quite awhile, what an sweet and unusual person. He told me his best job was making imitation spiders. : )
