Sunday Musings

First of all on Saturday I found a box on my front pouch.
(One of the most greatest things in the world.... unless it's for my husband LOL)

YEA!!!! It's a "Fool" from the talented Michelle at "Studio at Crow Haven Farms"
I just love Michelle's work!!! Thank you Michelle! Your Fool is sitting right above my painting table.

We are taking online classes together with Marie at
We have been making Fools this last month and for May Birds... you should stop on by.

Working out in my garden today. Chickens clucking, laying eggs... I'm pulling out some plants that are invading one of my raised gardens... and what I think is a ceramic frog happens to be a REAL one!!! I'm so excited! I run and get my camera, yelling at my husband to come see. I have such an affinity with frogs. That's another story. Did I say I was excited. I hope he stays around. I feel like I've been blessed.

The fool looks great, what a nice weekend surprise. Your frog looks very comfortable I wouldn't be surprised if he's already made himself at home.

Good things do come in packages, especially if they're addressed to the right person! :)
I love Michelle's work too-what an awesome gift.
I adore frogs too and during the summer the tree frogs are so abundant outside our house that we have to close the windows to hear while talking on the phone! It's quite a symphony!

The fool is adorable! I love suprises like that! Nothing more fun than opening a box!
I LOVE frogs! I have a little pond and I get real excited every summer when the frogs move in. They don't like me much when I have to clean it out but I pick them up and move them to the upper fall in the water so they are out of the way and safe..until I'm done.

I thank you all for the comments about the frog.. I haven't heard him croak or sing... I hope there are more of them in my garden.
Frogs have a definite spirit for me.

When I was real little that's all I ever wanted was frogs. My dad would catch them whenever we by a lake, he's bring them home from his office so I could have them.. a good but distant memory...

What a wonderful surprise! and OH! How I love froggies!! You are blessed. I'd love to hear all about it! When i was little my mom would take my sister and I to the park, near the back there were woods and a swamp where we used to play and look for frogs. While trying to catch them I once fell in, my gosh, who knew swamps were so slimey! I'd try to climb out and slide right back in! my mom came to my rescue :)hee hee

There was another park that had an entire lake full of tadpoles, you see me with my cup? :D

When I was a young teen, I asked for a frog hatchery kit, I've had a frog terrarium ever since..and I too am thrilled when they visit my tiny pond each summer.

Such amazing, beautiful little creatures aren't they. :)

Thank you for sharing...and for the memories!

BIG hugs,
