WIPS are out of the trash

It's a funny thing between me and my WIPS... when I'm done .... I'm done. I never look back... I can't think of one WIP I miss... Once when I drove to Montana I stopped and left little WIPS all down Interstate 90 east. Camping area's, rest stops, small grocery stores, bathrooms in restaurants. It was great fun.

But you all convinced me to take these lost children out of the trash ~ All I could think of is these little lost ones in some land fill thinking I really did desert them.

I had terrible nightmares last night. All night... and so now I have an idea what might happen to these lost ones... Nothing gory.

Happy Saturday! It's at least warm enough out to plant my onions!

Yay! Leaving little dollies on the road does seem like fun though.

I read that Harper Lee actually threw To Kill A Mockingbird out the window while she was working on it. Sure glad she went and got it out of the street.

I think I need to fly out there and we can go searching for the little WIPs along the interstate... anywhere near the Glaciers? I know them well! LOL
Have a great weekend!

Patte ~~~~~ what a neat idea...Like a wondering doll...what adventure has it gone on...Have the ravens picked one up from the landfill and saved to a high nesting area warm and safe?....

I'm glad you dug them out!
I can completely identify with your previous post though....that "FINE, be that way!!" moment where you just toss the WIP.

Along those lines, I've been considering (for a few years now, lol) hosting a WIP swap, where folks just sent those oh-so-frustrating pieces to someone else to finish. No "return to me when done," just sent out into the universe to find completion.

Phew! I am so glad to hear they have been rescued & can't wait to hear/see where you decide to take them. :)

LOL, I can't believe that you orphaned your little WIPs along the interstate.

I have visions in my head of all these little bits and bogs croaking out "mommie, no - don't leave me!"

I'm glad you rescued the most recent ones!

Oh Pat I wish I could find one of your WIP! What a find that would be! And just think of the stories your left behind 'folk' have to tell!
Your idea is much better than mine.. I break them apart and toss them right into the garbage if I don't like them!
