Happy New Year Everyone!
I don't make resolutions, I never keep them. I make resolutions with myself all year.
Tonight I am having a quiet dinner with friends and then a movie... but I'll be in bed by 10 at the latest!
I hope for everyone that your next new year be filled filled with love, laughter. joy and peace.
... and all through the house...
You know the story... I want to wish everyone a Very Merry Merry Christmas ~
I feel so grateful for all the friendships I've made here. Thank you all very much for following me and the wonderful comments~ I wouldn't be doing this blogging if it wasn't for the friendship and seeing what you all are doing!
I'm really looking forward to the year~
It's Human Kind that matters.
I met the most beautiful woman on line.
I don't remember how it happened. Maybe I found her blog by looking at others blogs.
The first blog entry I read of Renee's was about her cancer, inflammatory breast cancer. I'd never heard of it before. Since, I've tried to spread the word about this cancer... another gift Renee gave me and maybe someone I told that told someone else.....
As we got to know each other better there became this bond. A deep love for one another. I know that this happens time and time again with so many other people that Renee touch's.
She's very sick right now and it pains me to know this. As it pains her family and friends. Her sister Jacqui is very ill also. I hope that all of you that know Renee and will know Renee will pray for her, in any form that you do. I light a candle every day for her and keep a place in my heart that I can go to.
Shes a very special person...
Thank you Renee ~ It's such a gift knowing you.
This is a class on taught on my ning http://www.odd-dolls-fun.ning.com This was the example.
So if you'd like a chance to win this giveaway just leave a comment on this post and on Dec. 11th I'll choose a winner... I hope everyone is having a "stress" free holiday season~
I put my 3 Lucy's in this "Funky" "Funny" little gallery in Seattle. Not sure as you could call it a gallery as it's really a long hall way. Last night it was the "opening" and also the first Thursday Art walk. OH MY I couldn't believe how many people were swarming Pioneer Square (and old part of Seattle turned "hipster") People carrying wine and beer into the streets to go another gallery opening. Wild and I loved it! I wish I had gotten more pictures but I was just memorized ~
Here's how I set up my Lucy's... They weren't for sale as they feel like a part of my self.
These are just a few boxes I got to photograph....
And then Mr. Red walked in and I HAD to take a picture of him... we talked for quite awhile, what an sweet and unusual person. He told me his best job was making imitation spiders. : )
I am so thankful that I have met so many many wonderful people here. People that have brought me up from many of life's trials and tribulations... Thank you. Your comments always make me smile and endears me to you. Thank you. If I could give each and everyone of you a hug I would surely do it.
Just a short blog post about closing the class at 8p.m. Pacific time. Once that has passed I'll delete this post....
Thanks and I hope everyone is going to have a wonderful, creative week-end...
Getting my boxes ready to send to the people taking my pod class! Oh My! Filling them with pods, eyes, moss and other goodies that they can use to create a pod character. I'm closing this class on Friday.... as it's fun but time consuming and am running low on supplies... : )

Happy Halloween ~
I guess sometimes you lose something and you gain something. I had to let go of my favorite chicken about a week ago (my hermaphrodite hen). And 2 days later I find a Aracona hen in my alley... very tame and I picked her up worrying about her safety and took her to my penned in outside coop.... So she's been with me and the flock for 4 days now... no ones claimed her. Chicken pecking order is not fun to see... but things are settling down...
Making the video's for my ning class... only to find they have disappeared!!! Oh the work involved!
I live in the Pacific NW with my husband, cat and 7 chickens. My son lives a few miles away. I feel blessed to have 2 people that love me and I love them back. I've been making dolls for several years. From odd to cute... Halloween is one of my favorites.
I feel grateful and blessed everyday.
I've always had an eye for odd and unusual things. I'm attracted to bones, skulls, feathers.
I love dry humor and dark clothing. I'd rather have green olives than a chocolate cake. Coffee instead of tea. A walk on the beach or a dirt road instead of a mall or fancy clothing store. I love birds (that includes my chickens) prefer cats over dogs... but I love dogs.
I'm nomadic and would like to travel 9 months out of the year.
That's a little about me...
